The S.E.VEN Fund Student Essay Competition
Theme: Poverty can be regarded as a matter of exclusion from networks of productivity, and not simplyas having an unequal portion of what is imagined to be a fixed number of economic goods. In that sense, ending worldwide poverty is serious business. Describe enterprise based solutions to poverty in this context.
Awards: three (3) undergraduate student prizes of US $10,000 each and one (1) graduate student prize of US $20,000.

The Grey School of Wizardry Essay Contest
Theme: "What is the Most Astounding Magickal Beast?"
Who Can Enter: This contest is open to all aspiring Wizards between the ages of 18 and 138 years old. Contestants do not have to live in North America -- entries are welcome worldwide!
Deadline: 30 December 2007.
Awards: The four Winners will each receive a scholarship to the Grey School of Wizardry, worth the tuition of one "year-level" (24 credits). Each Winner will also each receivea copy of A Wizard's Bestiary by Oberon Zell-Ravenheart and Grey School 's very own Ash "LeopardDancer" DeKirk. Also, each Winner will also receive a powerful Wand from Willowroot Real Magic Wands aligned with their element.
